Larry Van Guilder in charter amendments

A charter amendment petition signature-gatherer approached me outside a local grocery store yesterday. I don't know if the appeal he used is common, but it was the first time I've heard it. This young man told me and all who would listen that the amendments were aimed at "corruption in the mayor's office."

Who knew?
